Privacy Policy

ElvinCodes (elvincodes.com) is my personal developer portfolio. I've kept this simple: there are no accounts or sign-up forms on this site, I don't run ads, and I never sell your data. The only information gathered is basic, aggregate analytics that help me understand how the site is doing.
Analytics
I use Google Analytics (GA4) to see how the site is used — which pages people visit, roughly where visitors come from, and what devices and browsers they use. To do this, Google sets cookies and processes usage data on my behalf, with IP addresses anonymized. I only ever view this information in aggregate, and I use it solely to improve the site. Google handles this data under its own terms — see Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses data from sites that use its services.
Hosting & links
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages, which may log standard technical data (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability. Links to other sites — such as my LinkedIn and GitHub — are governed by those services' own privacy policies. If you reach out to me through them, I'll use your message only to reply to you.
Your choices
You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, by blocking cookies in your browser, or by using a content blocker. Questions about this policy? Reach me through the links on the homepage.
