Privacy Policy

ElvinCodes (elvincodes.com) is my personal developer portfolio. I've kept this simple: there are no accounts to create, I don't run ads, and I never sell your data. The only information collected is what you choose to send me through the contact form, plus basic, aggregate analytics.
Contact form
If you message me through the contact form, I receive the name, email address, and message you submit. The form is handled by Netlify Forms, which stores the submission and forwards it to my email inbox. I use it only to reply to you — never to build a mailing list, and never shared or sold. Ask me any time and I'll delete your submission.
Analytics
I use Google Analytics (GA4) to see how the site is used — which pages people visit, roughly where visitors come from, and what devices and browsers they use. To do this, Google sets cookies and processes usage data on my behalf, with IP addresses anonymized. I only ever view this information in aggregate, and I use it solely to improve the site. Google handles this data under its own terms — see Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses data from sites that use its services.
Hosting & links
The site is hosted on Netlify, which may log standard technical data (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability. Links to other sites — such as my LinkedIn and GitHub — are governed by those services' own privacy policies. If you reach out to me through them, I'll use your message only to reply to you.
Your choices
You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, by blocking cookies in your browser, or by using a content blocker. Questions about this policy? Reach me through the links on the homepage.
